2023 Conference Agenda
"Recruit, Retain and Maintain"
The 2023 MAWP conference will be hosted at Arrowwood Resort in Alexandria, MN from Monday, May 8th - Wednesday, May 10th. Early check-in will start on Sunday, May 7th from 5pm.
LODGING INFO: Arrowwood Resort has various options for lodging. Call and request the basic room MAWP rate of $96.00 per night. Tax is not included in this price.
We are excited to host the following presenters:

-Heather Glogolich: The Complete Female Cop
-Terry Cherry: Recruitment, Retention, History of Exclusion and Impact on today
The Conference will have independent local case study on: Jasmine Block Abduction - Alexandria PD
There will be various vendors present including...Dan Athmann from Thrivent to meet with attendees on Financial wellness. If you are interested in having a consultation appointment with Athmann, please email mawpcommunications@gmail.com and we will help you schedule your appointment.
The 2023 Conference will offer 18 POST continuing education credits.
**Conference attire is business casual** - **You can wear your Class A or business casual attire for the banquet**

Social Events and Networking
Events that MAWP hosts are part of our mission. To build relationships, network and find your tribe. We encourage if you are looking for mentorship and peer support to attend one of the events. We do a range of activities from attending sporting events, paint parties, physical activity, firearm practice and more! Our members go on to have lots of social events outside of MAWP as well!
